Press Release (5.19.17)

We have recently been made aware of conversations making the rounds on social media regarding a "senior prank" at McDowell High School and want to set the record straight. While some students have approached school officials about hosting a "Senior Celebration" as a fun way to celebrate the end of their time at MHS, there are no plans for a "senior prank". Anyone attempting to conduct a "senior prank" will face severe repercussions from the school and possibly law enforcement. We want seniors focused on successfully completing their high school careers, celebrating their accomplishments, and looking forward to the next steps in their individual journeys. Should you have questions or concerns about this or any other item, please contact McDowell High School directly and ask to speak with an administrator.
